LOVE YOURSELF

SELF - LOVE
Why is self-love so important? Recently, there has been a lot of talk about self-love. It sounds fantastic, but what does it really mean? How do we love ourselves and why is it important?
The definition of self-love implies finding comfort within ourselves and being at peace. We might do something nurturing to give ourselves a moment of respite. However, there is a deeper inner peace that can be attained by cultivating a certain relationship with ourselves - a warm and nurturing way of being with ourselves. Being self-loved is not only about how you treat yourself, but also how you feel about yourself. Therefore, when you think of self-love, you can imagine all the things you would do for yourself, how you would talk to yourself, how you would feel about yourself that reflected love and concern.
The following are examples of what self-love can look like in action.
- Saying positive things to yourself
- Forgiving yourself when you mess up
- Meeting your own needs
- Being assertive
- Not letting others take advantage of or abuse you
- Prioritizing your health and well-being
- Spending time around people who support you and build you up (and avoiding people who don't)
- Asking for help
- Letting go of grudges or anger that holds you back
- Recognizing your strengths
- Valuing your feelings
- Making healthy choices most of the time
- Living in accordance with your values
- Pursuing your interests and goals
- Challenging yourself
- Holding yourself accountable
- Giving yourself healthy treats
- Accepting your imperfections
- Setting realistic expectations
- Noticing your progress and effort
IMPORTANCE OF LOVING YOURSELF
In today's society, perfection is the norm, so we often set unrealistically high standards for ourselves. We overlook the fact that everyone has flaws, even those deemed perfect. It doesn't imply that you have a large sense of pride that you can not be around other people, nor does it imply that you develop a shell around yourself and close yourself off from the world. In other words, it should not be taken to mean that you should avoid relationships because you like to be alone. And having pets for the rest of your life may be intriguing, but it's not a good idea. This means finding comfort inside of yourself. Recognizing that someone who hasn't learned unconditional love will struggle to give it to others. It involves acknowledging that most people suffer, and that they communicate their suffering to others. Knowing this can assist you in realizing that you already possess that potential rather than waiting for someone else to make you whole. Consistently practicing self-love is the cure to so many stressful times in our lives. Maintaining a healthy relationship with ourselves may seem difficult right now, but it may very well be the one constant that will help you get through the tough times. People who love themselves experience less anxiety and depression. They also maintain a positive outlook, which is essential to personal development and mental health.
Be who u r and u shall not repent for the rest of ur life. U r what u r and none can take that away from u no matter how hard they try
